Love the faucet and so far the faucet has been working well. It has been in place for over a month and Touch feature is very nice. The installation went better than most plumbing projects I've done, but I did have some difficulty... and would think Delta could find a better way to feed the hose up through and down the neck of the faucet. Why isn't this done in the factory? I didn't find any reason it couldn't! I think this is an area that could be difficult for most self-installers. But now that it's installed so far...Love it!
We bought this faucet 4 months ago. everything was great until a key piece broke. Water all over the floor. Ruined our ceiling below. The key plastic piece was on back order and we had to just shut off the water supply for 2 weeks. The plastic piece finally came but we feel like it is so cheap that it is only a matter of time until it breaks again. I would not recommend this faucet to anyone. cindy
I installed this product myself about three weeks ago. I did not have any problems with the installation - the installation instructions were very good. Thus far everything has worked perfectly as advertised. It has been a very useful and attractive addition to our kitchen and quite a conversation piece with visitors.
I bought this product after seeing it advertised, and reading all the reviews online. I'm very careful about my water use, and I felt that this would make it even easier to stop wasting water.
A couple of things to note: It is HUGE. It's double the height of my former faucet. If you have a small sink, you won't be able to use it.
Second, when your hands are really wet, it might take two times to turn it off. I find I have better luck with dry skin than wet.
On the other hand, it has never gone on by itself, and I leave it with the lever in the "on" position almost all the time. If I have any problems with it, I'll come back and update this review. But it seems to me that most of the complaints about the electronics were earlier in the production life, and that they've tapered off now.
